CR8-CF-DH Dual Head Cleat Former

Ductformer’s CR-CF series Dual head rollformers are designed for installation in any manufacturers existing duct coil lines. Designed as a conventional rollformer all forming stations are gear driven. Roll tooling is designed by the same roll tool engineers that have been designing custom tooling for decades. The Drive Cleat hem formed on the CR-8 is more consistent and uniform then competitors’ models because we have designed this machine as a true rollformer with expert designed tooling and each forming station gear driven. Our width adjustment system is also the finest in the industry with solid shaft gear box coupling where our competition only uses chains and sprockets.

What is the advantage of an “All-Gear Drive” system?

Most rollformers on the market use chains and sprockets, which stretch, require frequent lubrication, and create significant noise. Ductformer’s All-Gear Drive and oil bath transmission provide a maintenance-free, quiet, and precise operation that extends the life of the machine tooling.

How easy is it to get replacement parts?

We design our machines using “off-the-shelf” name-brand components (such as U.S. gear units). This means if you ever need a replacement bearing or gear, they are readily available from industrial suppliers globally, minimizing your downtime.

Can these machines be integrated into automated coil lines?

Yes. Many of our rollformers, such as the Dual Head TDFC and CR8-CF-DH, are specifically designed for high-speed inline operation within automated coil lines, but they can also be used as powerful standalone units.
